Really, I just wish her dumba$$ would disappear from the public eye, after she claimed to be so "setup" by Hilton, she went on the conservative circuit trumpeting her position, joining Later, the National Organization for Marriage, hiring a Christian public relations firm, presenting awards at Gospel Music gatherings, speaking at Liberty's convocation, In late April, Prejean presented an award at a large Gospel Music Award show, you name it she was there. Hardly the behavior of someone who "fell into it" and was just stating her beliefs, which she admittedly doesn't have.

And she was trumpeting her faith Dip, that's where you're wrong. I guess that was before the pictures and tape came out.

The part I like best is that she goes back on her word and said that she didn't have an opinion on civil unions for same-sex marriages. Really? There's somebody you can get behind Dip.

But when the transcript and video showed she didn't reference her religion, then you want to talk about her answers on the talk show circuit. Hey Tommy, how do you feel about humans marrying farm animals? I mean, as disgusting as it may seem, there are people out there having sexual relations with farm animals, and they may even love each other.

Seeing that a 1000 years of cultural norms are off the table now, should we deny a government sanctioned marriage to a man and a goat if they really love each other?

When the farm animals have legal standing and can sign a marriage certificate you might have an point, until then that question is void and nothing but a slippery slope fallacy. And before you go there the same applies to pedophiles wanting to marry children, when a child has the legal authority to make that decision for him/herself you will have a point, until then it's a non issue except to people like you who only want to spread fear.

So unless and until marriage can be entered into by non consenting non adults you have no argument.

Gay marriage isn't succeeding at the ballot box because it goes against established cultural norms. Cultural norms were established over thousands of years. People have been screwing sheep and having homosexual for ages. It's only now that the secular progressive's (the me me me generation) have decided that the cultural norms is whatever feels good NOW.

As for your moronic interracial marriage analogy, it simply doesn't apply. People have been marrying between races for thousands of years. Only a small group of Jim Crow hillbillies took issue with it in the South.
