One year too late but better late than never plus he'll wear Memphis blue for at least 3 or 4 years and not just 1.

You know, if he had actually played here, he would have never been drafted by the Grizzlies... they would have drafted someone from the team that beat us in the end............

Thought Van Gundy was going to rake us over the coals like he normally does, but he kept his f'ing mouth shut for once.

If I remember correctly, no one really gave him a hard time when he transferred to Kansas...maybe I read wrong. So if "fans decide to give him a hard time" it is just because they don't like the Grizzlies. They are the same people that complain that the Grizzlies never get former Tigers while ignoring the fact that Elliot Perry, Lorenzen Wright, and Antonio Burks played with the organization.

Kid & his family were too good to play for the Tigers, his Mom was as anti-Memphis as it got during our recruiting of him and didn't she press CJ into transferring? Why does Carl bother you so much? Did he get drafted? Did he just make alot of money? No. His son did the work and his son will get rewarded. Stop worrying about the kids dad so much. What grown man is going to let his dad make all of his decisions. It won't be that big of a problem.

It is the mentality that you are professing on here that is absolutely ridiculous. "Pony up" for tickets? Yea, right. Even if I bought the tickets for you, you wouldn't have even gone to see Ren or Burks. You would have been perfectly content with making up some explanation of how Wesley Person said something about Memphis 23 years ago and that is why you would rather boycott the organization.

I'm a Tigers fan first, I have been my whole life; but if you check under my avatar it says that I cheer for my hometown as well. That includes the MEMPHIS FREAKING GRIZZLIES.

Lets be honest here, He was recruited by cal and left when cal left. Did he go to Kentucky? Get off your high horse, no one blames him for leaving.
