Flamer...please...just stop.
In your FIRST post in this thread...you noted:
I'm curious because if it came to BE expansion, the Pitt admin may take pause wrt a UCF application unless the issue is resolved.
In your 2nd post...you stated:
I would hope that the Pitt admin would have demanded some form of compensation due to the higher cost for the replacement game.
In your 3rd post:
It was a BS move in my opinion.
In your 4th:
Would you enter into a business arrangement with another entity if you knew that he/she/it has reneged on agreements in the past? It may look like a small issue to a lot of you out there, but how can you trust someone will be a good partner moving forward in important matters if they cannot be trusted with smaller matters?
In your 5th:
That was not an equitable trade in my opinion. The AD may be different at Pitt today as opposed to back then, but the Chancellor is the same man. It may or may not be a factor, I don't know.
And another:
I just wanted to play devil's advocate a little to see how everyone responds. I suppose if/when BE expansion comes to the forefront again, there will be "tie breakers" if there are more than one candidate school that are close to being equal in net value to the BE. It will be interesting to see if some of these "small issues" results in one school getting the vote over another.
Oh...and this dozy:
I do not have a grudge against UCF
And..
I don't mean to be intentionally mean spirited
You played devil's advocate, and LOST!
Next time...try and keep all of your flames in one post.
Lol, you nailed it. See post #25 in this thread.
Well done:

RE: UCF Fans - Question on scheduling - BE expansion
Dude come on, this is pathetic, don't even try to act all innocent and coy now. You obviously started this thread in an attempt to down UCF and how they shouldn't be in the BE be/c they "reneged" on a series w/ yall a while back. You might not have said that directly word for word but that is what you are inferring in this thread. Devil's advocate my a$$...aren't you guys gonna be joining the B10 anyways? Why would yall care if some CUSA teams joined BE?

Hopefully the moderator will now move this thread...and any other thread miko starts to the smack board.

And people wonder why ECU fans don't like UCF fans. This entire thread is all the proof anyone would ever need.

I can't imagine that all UCF fans are that bad. But the Night Light appeared to get lit up by my questions for whatever reason. I think he was really turned off by my thread....

Among The BEast football schools, we have more than enough strong basketball teams to be relevant in the NCAA. So another basketball power isn't going to improve much for us. It would be nice to have another good basketball program. But having another competitive football program is our first priority in any expansion discussions.
Yup, I agree. I also beleive that if a program is added that is not good at basketball, if ntohing else, they add well needed wins to struggling teams in the middle. With three new NCAA slots this year and moving forward, that could be the difference to move a bubble team or two up into the tournament. And every NCAA tournament appearance will be worth more under the new contract than any non-BCS bowl game, save for the Capitol One Bowl. And if they actually win a game, and get to the second round, it will be worth more than a second BCS team.
