Expansion
Ok since I don't see any talk about this on this site, I thought I would start it.

With all the twists and turns expansion has taking the past 3-4 months, it is becoming clear what the initial intention was... the B10s main targets were always NEB, ND and TEX... all other talk was flack to confuse and scare other conferences.

If the latest news is to be believed, it is also becoming clear that Nordy did in fact have his crap together and knew we were very high on the ACC's pecking list of candidates. I, for one, have preferred the ACC with the line up of schools that more reflect Pitt. Can you imagine a conference like this?

ACC North
Boston College, Connecticut, Syracuse, Pitt, West Virginia, Maryland, Virginia, Virginia Tech

ACC South
NC State, North Carolina, Duke, Wake Forest, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Miami, Florida St.

No wonder Jamie shut up! Outstanding hoops and a pretty damn good football league.

Wow, I have my fingers crossed.

I see something along those lines as the only real option. Seeing talk of B12 leftovers or CUSA is just awful. It doesn't add value and worse yet is moving backwards, while this would be a very strong conference, a step forward for both BE and ACC, obviously make for a strong TV contract (even better than what the ACC just got) makes sense for geography - I would love for this to happen.

Our boy Wanny had an interest quote on channel 4 news this weekend. He said "I'd rather be in the Big East because its an easier road to the national title, but I understan the money involved". hmmm
