Of course I could be wrong. But I don't think so.

A Dallas Tiger, he might eventually go back to the NBA to be a head coach, but that dog will not hunt. It is not about the recruiting class he has at Kentucky, but the leeriness of NBA Owners and GMs to rehire a guy who has been out of the Association so long.

I know the Bulls have hired one of the Boston Celtics assistant coaches, but what fascinating to me is that the thread did not die after he got hired. He will not get hired on to the NBA job this year at all.

Funny that the only mentions about Cal to the NBA are media spindoctors and Cal's own PR. GMs wouldn't touch him with a ten-foot pole - unless they were backed into a corner they could't get out of. Instead of being the greatest coach in the universe like his big ego wants, he'll end up the most reviled coach in history - or worse, forgotten - which would hurt him more than anything else.

and please, people, Cal ain't goin nowhere. some might think its bad Pub. when a coach is rumored for these NBA positions and recruits are going to second guess committing to that coach, BUT, it's actually the opposite. When Cal started pairing his name with LBJ, it only made the guy look even 'cooler' to the youngins
