Now 5-3, still in top of 7th. Jaksa's neck veins tightening.

Big Girls batting in 9th. Doesn't look good for Jaksa. Better switch from loin cloths to *****-socks to bring more "bats" to the plate!

CHImPS have runners at 1st and 3rd, no one out, fat punter pinch hitting. Big Girls changing pitchers.

RE: Jaksa's Legacy
Keys to this game:

1. Switching from loin-cloths to *****-socks in bottom of 9th.
2. Sending Cassie Keller and Shirley Manson into the dugout before our first batter went to the plate (Cassie teased, and Shirley "swore like a trooper" at the boys)!
3. Craig Fisher (fat punter) and Dan LeFevour pinch hitting with no outs and runners at 1st and 3rd.
4. CE phoning Steve Jaksa, and threatening his life.

Now isn't that what CHAMPION(CHImP) CULTURE and CHIPPEWA PRIDE IS ALL ABOUT?!

RE: Jaksa's Legacy
The REAL championCHIP game was the BG game. Incredible that we came back with four runs in the bottom of the 9th! Kunt State? We never did figure out their pitching (1 out of 4 for the year), until the bottom of the 8th. By that time, we were out of gas. We won the conference trophy, which is great, but it truly would have been fabulous to have won the tourney as well (and eliminate the distasteful way we won the conference). All-in-all, we did well, but didn't quite have enough in the tank to finish. Tip o' the feather to the Flashers. They earned it. Hope they go far.04-rock

They did go far. All the way to LA. Two days later, they came back after getting whomped on by rude hosts UCLA & UC-Irvine.
