Of course like I said, I haven't used or seen dish at all in the last two years except maybe at bars if they had dish for a game, so maybe things have changed.

I was out in westmont and the HD signal with comcast was getting worst with every channel they added. They were not adding bandwidth so they were squeezing more and more channels into each stream which was limiting the quality horribly, we went to dish and the quality was infinitely better, now we are out in bolingbrook and still use Dish.

RE: **** Comcast
I had cable forever at my house, and switched to DirecTV in January. I have been much more impressed with DirecTV than I ever was with Comcast at school, or Mediacom, which my parents had. The DirecTV HD is much better, a lot more channels, and I've never had a problem with their customer service. There are plenty of very cheap satellite plans out there regardless of provided.

As far as internet goes, I had high speed through my cable company and then switched to Verizon DSL. I am much more happy with the Verizon DSL and haven't had any problems as far as performance or speed goes. My download speed after a speed test with the DSL is actually faster than the cable internet was.

RE: **** Comcast
I had my directv and comcast internet installed at my new house last friday. Directv was finished first and the comcast guy was very impressed with the Directv HD picture quality.
