In spite of the burkas, disrespectful kids, Baath-party style dress, FBI snipers taking up station in the neighboring house, swarthy appearance, wailing women, the bb guns shot at one of the neighboring girls, walking distance to two separate madrassas in the neighborhood, arabic sounding shouting, weapons fire at night, speeding cars going up and down the street, AK-47s that were seized in the FBI raid, it is important not to make any assumptions about their heritage or religious affiliation.

It's not often that I look at kids and envision the results of what happens in the aftermath of an explosive belt filled with shrapnel, but it's a very real possibility that it lies in these kids future.
