Taking nothing away from the sweep---just looking down the road where Jaksa has failed so many times in the past, Hawks. Tired, tired, tired of us getting cooked in the tournament.

See, this is what I mean. MSU comes in and cooks us 16-9 on our own field (and we had just beaten them in Midland a short while back). Jaksa, throws a guy with a 7.00 ERA, and their bottom batting order smashes him. Sounds a lot like Jim Leyland.

Heard tonight from Dave Heeke @ the Event Center dinner that CMU is in a tie right now.

Yeah, I guess, if you like things literally "handed" to you. bALLSTATE, just choked it away (props to the Rocks). That's two championships (football and baseball) that the Cards have "given" away. But, watch out for them in the tournament! Jaksa is notorious for "one-and-done."

Yeah, but when people look back now, nobody is going to know it was "handed" to CMU. The standings will just show CMU in 1st place.

All they will see is the MAC trophy in the trophy case along with all the other awards!!! Nobody is going to remember how they won it, just that they won it! I'll take it!

I suppose, but it still rings a hollow-pride for me. If we win the tournament, I'll feel true CHIPPEWA PRIDE, because we will have truly earned it!
