So I saw BP today and my thoughts were as follows:
Chadwick Boseman and Michael P. Jordan did a great job.
I typically don't agree with Ta-Neshi Coates' political POV's but I thought he had a pretty good run writing the BP comic and much of that influence can be seen in the movie's plot.
The story does a decent job trying to explain why Wakanda chooses to isolate itself, which I felt was always a niggling detail in the comic book.
The fight at the end seemed contrived and created because that's what always happens in Marvel films. Either Warmonger needed to get to have an actual 20-40 man squad or the battle should have been only between him and T'Challa.
The only thing I could see anyone having issue with was Ross' treatment while they were at the Gorilla Tribe.
The post credit scenes were 'meh'
where was the Soul Stone? We know its in Wakanda and I figured that they'd introduce it before Infinity War.

But for someone to play a white guilt angle to wait on seeing a movie is pretty stupid.
I could take the praise if it was strictly about the movie. It ranks 3rd for me behind Iron Man 1 and Captain America 2. But as Badger MJ stated, many of the comments are venturing off into the fantastic. When people are complaining about why it took so long for something like this to come out and how they wish more comics existed for them, I can't help but reflect upon my childhood.
The Black Panther comic has been around for almost 50 years with middling sales at the best of times. Dwayne McDuffie's Icon and Millstone Comics lasted only four years and that MANTIS TV show just squeeked out two seasons. Storm has had 3 independent series that were all canceled inside a year. Where were all of these 'fans' back then when the industry needed them?
