Absolutely.

But, in Tony's defense, I understand why he would have a little bit of resentment towards Steve; I'm sure he heard lots and lots of tales about how great Steve was and how impossible it would probably be in order to live up to Steve's virtue.

Civil War is going to be great.

Alien / BR director cut
--Great sci fi movie.

Aliens / BR director cut
--Probably one of the most bad ass movies of all time. What I liked about the DC version is the scenes that were added really helped story points later on and in some regard through the movie.

50 Shades of Grey/ BR director cut
--Honestly, unless my memory totally dropped from the theatrical cut, I saw nothing really added. As for the movie itself, I can buy Anastasia being wrapped up in the world/lifestyle Christian Grey is in but I would think as soon as a contract for sex gets brought up, and his shopping habbits...it would scream something is up.... Never read the books but I kind of want to see how this plays out...

Can't be worse than the comic book attempt.

Civil War is going to be great.
I caught some of the first one the other night on FX.. There's a scene, where they're talking about flying monkeys, and Thor says I don't understand.. Cap says, I do.. In the background you see Stark give a face of disgust.

A few scenes later is the whole, this is the guy my dad talked about scene between him and Banner.

Then when the scepter got them all antsy and Cap told him to put the suit on and go a few rounds..

I think the build up is there, now that we know that the 3rd Capt. America is 'Civil War'.

I know RDJ is signed up for Captain America 3, and Avengers 3.. Avengers 4 is supposed to be the continuation of 3 because of the infinity wars.. I wonder if someone new will be Iron Man or if RDJ will extend.

I think RDJ is done after Infinity War. If so, then I hope he goes out with a bang.

The question will be is he done after Infinity War 1 or Infinity War II..

Don't be surprised if not by the end of year you see the Fantastic Four in the MCU. I don't have high hopes for this upcoming movie even though I believe it will be better than the previous two. I think Fox will strike a deal similar with Marvel like Sony did with Spidey or just give it Marvel/Disney for cash.

Team America: World Police / NF
--BEST THEME SONG EVER! I liked it but my main issues with it weren't the satire or the art direction but the rehash of their South Park voices for all the characters.

Terminator / dvd se
--I like the movie....but the time travel issues presented still bug me to this day.

Terminator 2 / dvd DC
--While I do think it is one of the better action movies to have been made, I think its real selling point was the work ILM did with the Liquid Metal Terminator. To this day, they still haven't topped. I mean the TX (?) from 3 was cool with being able to form machines it felt as more of a spin off from the liquid metal one. Not sure how the new guy in Genisys will fare.

Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines / dvd
--Not a bad movie. I think it needed a little more budget to be great. I liked the story line switch up they did. The TX was cool in a lot of ways 03-wink

Terminator Salvation / BR
--A kick ass action movie. I liked how they got into the infiltrators, kyle reese, skynet, ect...

RE: The movie thread
Live and Let Die/dvd
--Liked the creepy voodoo angle to the movie but that was about it. Yaphet Kotto was the man and Solitaire was pretty hot.

A View to a Kill/dvd
--Zorin was a cool villain and Grace Jones a formidable foe but that Tonya Roberts... and the early on idea to go after Silicon Valley...

Quantum of Solace/dvd
--Loved Bond in full on revenge mode.. a cool plot although I didn't like the scrapped how deep Quantum went when the did Skyfall.

The Man with the Golden Gun/dvd
--Christopher Lee was a cool trick shot villain but the whole movie plot was kind of meh for me. Also, my boy Tattoo was in it LOL.

The Karate Kid/dvd
--A great movie...

The Karate Kid II/dvd
--I always like the idea that they had of going to Miagi's homeland of Okinawa. A nice idea to tie it in to why he left Okinawa as well.

Jurassic World / theater
--A decent movie but had some minor quirks that just got to me.

Jurassic Park/br
--still the best one so far.

Jurassic Park II/br
--Liked it till they got off the island.

Jurassic Park III/br
--strictly as a movie it was pretty cool but the plot felt like a cash in.

Underworld/br
--Kate Beckinsale in skin tight leather? Sign me up. Kind of a interesting way to play out the Vampire vs. Werewolf angle.

Star Wars II: Attack of the Clones/br
--My favorite of the prequel trilogy.

RE: The movie thread
Karate Kid III/dvd
--not as bad as I remembered it but definitely a interesting way to do number 3 in using the Krease life after defeat angle.

The Next Karate Kid/dvd
--interesting that they decided to go with a female in this finally. Although it wasn't the female lead that made the movie not as good... it was the whole movie felt off.

For Your Eyes Only/ dvd
--Pretty good Bond. I don't think it got the credit it deserved.

RE: The movie thread
Lionheart/BR
--Finally have this movie in 16:9 and would have bought the dvd eons ago had they offered in widescreen.

Street Fighter/BR
--Honestly, not as bad as people had made it out to be. I'm not a Street Fighter aficionado but it seems they casted it ok. Personally, I think Mortal Kombat beats this though.

Underworld 2/BR
--Cool continuation of the story from 1.

RE: The movie thread
noah. i'm on the fence with aronofsky. i love his direction, his films dive real deep. but they always end the same. even though i may or may not believe in the story of a giant flood that destroyed (spoiler!!!!) the world, it wasn't a good movie. this was silly

inside llewyn davis. everyone thinks he's a dick, but i kinda see him as a antihero. events in his recent life turned him into an *******. i think. credit the coen brothers for making this dreary storyline watchable. oscar isaac is the sh!t. he was in drive and currently in theaters ex machina which i need to see

RE: The movie thread
Ted 2/theater
--Arguably better than the first one. The scenarios at the end involving key people from the move and the prior one are great. The into music/titles scene reminded me of the end of Blazing Saddles.

I appreciated that it poked fun at itself, but that doesn't necessarily make an entertaining movie.

Anyone seen Fury yet? If you have, what is your review? It looks intense as I have screened some other clips.

I heard it was good but but I have not seen it personally.

************************************************

Harry Potter: Half Blood Prince/BR
--Loved the story

Harry Potter: The Deathly Hallows I, II / BR
--Kind of an interesting end even though you kind of saw it coming.

Terminator Salvation/ BR
--intense action movie... interesting ending...

Underworld: Awakening
Underworld: Rise of the Lycans
--Each cool in their own right. I think the series was pretty well thought out.
