On to the Conference Tournament
Lipscomb women's softball did this to Belmont Wednesday. They're in the ARV section of the national polls (the only team from a MBB one-bid conference getting votes) and at #40 in the RPI may be at-large worthy even if they lose in the conference tournament. Granted, they lost 5 of 6 on the Hawaii trip and split with UAB, so their record isn't great against the very top teams. But Whitney Kiihnl is 28-2, with her only 2 losses coming to California and Hawaii.

Softball pitchers are like goalies. Get a good one, build some momentum, and watch out. Lipscomb may have their Jim Craig.
