I read some of the posts before my browser crashed. Have you read his novels?
I was trying to find out where he taught school in Colorado. He was probably about 10 years after my time there.

No this is the first I encountered him. I'm not into horror, which is some of his work. I'll look further to see about his SF.
He is obviously an intelligent man, and a pretty good teacher.
