RE: The CUSA that might have been
I don't think there is a UC, UL, or USF fan who would trade the current Big East for your conference. I'd also like to point out that UC has made it to 2 BCS bowls and turned its attendance around, something that would have never happened in the old C-USA.

If UC gets left out, I'll be disappointed. That being said, I would trade the past 5 years of BCS football for UC for anything.

North
Pittsburgh
West Virginia
UConn
Syracuse
Rutgers
Temple

South
Louisville
Cincinnati
South Florida
East Carolina
Houston
TCU

That could have happened as well and that is right now a much stronger league then the one you purposed.

OMG Maize, you left out UCF!!! You are scared of them, you have UCF phobia.... MAke it more obvious you are scared. OmG ~~!! *

Lol, the current 2 time C-USA Champ is much more attractive to me along with their attendence record the past 5 years then just adding another Florida school.

Plus, TCU and Houston IMO are no brainers and if you split from the basketball schools then Temple would give this league a foothold in Philadelphia.
