How flexible is the 27 month window?
If the Big Ten legitimately isn't accelerating their 12-18 month timetable, does that mean it will be a 2013 expansion? Because they'd need to get this done pretty fast for 2012 if the deal were to include any BE member schools.

Is the B10/Delany presser at 12 noon local (PT) or eastern?

thanks...

If the B10 is likely to take members from both B12 and BE the wait doesn't matter. I don't know what the deal in B12 is, but B10 can easily take that one and get its champ game. The delay from one or two new members is no big deal.

The 27 month window is solid. It was put in place for just this occurrence. If they want to act quickly they need to invite a B12 school in since they only have a 24 month waiting period.
