Also look for him to move up in the order when David Ross starts...I could see him batting 4th at some point when Mac is resting.

More likely, if (when) Chipper or Glaus get hurt.

If he keeps going like this, Bobby will have no choice.

I think bobby will begin experimenting with him in different places in the lineup shortly. Hes tied for 2nd in the NL in RBIs and hes batting in the 7 hole. I think he most likely ends up as a five hole hitter with Glaus behind him. That gives McCann protection and makes the staff throw him better quality pitches with Glaus batting behind him. I wouldnt mind seeing him in 2 hole in some games but he'll need more consistency before that happens.

I like him hitting behind McCann. People are going to start pitching around McCann to get to Glaus. Glaus needs to be hitting in the 6-7 spot. I also wouldn't mind Prado leading off with Escobar in the 2 hole in front of Chipper.

Glaus with a two run homer off Madson in the 9th to cut it to 3-2 with 2 out and then HEYWARD with a game tying homer.

Braves win 4-3 in 10 over Phils

The Legend of Heyward continues...

Look for that to happen against righties...he'll bat 7th against lefties..

He'll be moving up soon enough.

He's so much better than Colby Rasmus, it's not even funny.

How big was that move last night? If he was still batting 7th then Escobar would have been up with 2 outs in the 9th with the game on the line.

Phils made some great defensive play all night. Victorino took a homer away from Glaus in the 2nd. Atlanta had a couple shots to win. Halladay is unreal. Moyer vs Lowe tnight. Win that and you win the series and take 2 of 3 from the phils

Moyer was phenomenal...big series win for the Phils, even this early in the season.

RE: Jason Heyward Homers 1st Big League AB
Whats crazy about that series is normally when the Phils beat the Braves it's because Ryan Howard and the rest of the offense go bonkers. But this time it was the Phils starting pitching. The Braves generally have good success against Moyer, but he was throwing some expert batting practice last night and they didn't have a chance.

Melky Cabrera and Troy Glaus are becoming about as terrible as Raul Mondesi was for the Braves several years ago. I would let McClouth play against lefties, and give Eric Hinske some more ABs. Heck, I wouldn't even be oppose to having Infante start at 2B and moving Prado to first every now and then.
