RE: OT: If The Sun-Belt was on Survivor
I am wondering the reason for the 9 FAU votes?

My guess:
• 6 FIU fans mad that our football program has achieved way more than they have in the same amount of time.
• 2 Troy Fans that still think FAU is a bunch of thugs that play dirty.
• 1 ULM Fan that is mad that I started this poll.

GO OWLS!

I'd give you my reasons, but you'd probably just give me negative rep for it.

And I get enough negative rep from the Tech fans who give me negative rep for giving another Techie, who doesn't belong here, negative rep.

And while we are on the subject of rep, how is it that some can give +2 or -2 while all I can give is +/-1? Is it a function of Number of posts?

ULL fans are limited to 1, while others can give 2. Just the way it's always been.

I think it's a 'character flaw' issue.

If we kick out one, in this version of "Survivor" you have to add one.

Who do you add ?

Appalachian State ? Post-season women and men hoops, great football, perenially good baseball

Please, please, please let's not open this up again. I just finally started forgetting last year's offseason/football season.

the rebuilding year.

There is no doubt that FAU tries to intimidate teams with their false swagger. (See the Troy game during the pre game prayer for proof). However false swagger caused them to get humiliated. It was so bad Howard was trying to run the clock out in the 3rd quarter. Even that is not enough to make me want to vote them off. I'm pretty happy with the group we have right now.

Even ULM is worth keeping. They were a little cocky to start the year, but as one of their players said he doesn't like to go to Troy because they see to hit a little harder when protecting their home turf. Not to mention that awesome restaurant by the water in Monroe. That place is worth going back for a visit.

North Texas is the Sun Belt school I have yet to visit in football, but they have some pretty classy posters.

Now if someone would add South Alabama to that list they would get my vote. I'm already tired of hearing how the won the YMCA league in Mobile last year. Or about the sellouts and how Troy already fears them.

Let us know if you decide to make the trip out this year. It's your last chance to see Fouts Field (soon to be designated a historical monument thanks to its role in "Necessary Roughness"). And right now, the plan is to buy a portable gyro broiler for our tailgates. If you get here, stop by and eat with us.

you have to get a certain number of repuation points to do a plus or minus 2

I keep getting up there once or twice and then some stupid latech fan comes in and ruins my reputation

Thanks!!! The plan is to make it out there this year. Of course all that depends on the economy. The last Troy game I missed was at North Texas two years ago.

After reading most the bickering on here, I'm wanting to change my vote to MT.
