1,000 Point Club
With Ian Clark having one of the strongest freshman seasons ever for a Belmont player, I wanted to compare his stats with others from the 1,000 point club. Looking at the top 6 players from the NCAA era, here is how they stack up (listed by freshman year average points per game).

Ian Clark - ?,??? career points; freshman year 462 – 14.9 avg.
Wes Burtner – 1,833 career points; freshman year 391 – 14.5 avg.
Justin Hare – 1,761 career points; freshman year 320 – 10.7 avg.
Steve Drabyn – 1,237 career points; freshman year 215 – 8.6 avg.
Andy Wicke – 1,236 career points; freshman year 262 – 8.5 avg.
Adam Mark – 1,574 career points; freshman year 189 – 6.8 avg.
Adam Sonn – 1,241 career points; (freshman year was at Lipscomb)

Ian’s first year is 18% better in points scored than Burtner’s first year. If he can continue at a similar pace through his career, he may be our first 2,000 point scorer baring injury or defection to another team.

RE: 1,000 Point Club
Baring injury I think he'll reach 2,000. He's the best Belmont player I've seen since joining the A-sun.
