I am very excited to see what Howland can do as a coach. I looked at the men's basketball schedule for 03-04 and it's loaded with a lot of tough out of conference games!!

also congrats to Ryan Hollins helping the USA team win gold. This experience is great for him and will help him when he puts on a Bruin uniform this winter.

Hes been a success everywhere he's gone, I saw him coach Northern Arizona University to the NCAA tourney in 97 or 98 and they lost to #2 seed Cincinatti when the Bearcats hit a three pointer with 2 seconds to go winning by 2 pts. And you saw what he did at Pitt in 3 years, I think UCLA may win the conf in the next two seasons.

I didn't even know he coached at NAU. hopefully he will have tons of success at UCLA..
