Women's NCAA Selection Show
Is on Monday at 6pm on ESPN. If we don't get in the WNIT starts on Wednesday.

Maybe we'll get a home game. Peterson has been pretty successful getting one in the past.

It will be a travesty if we don't get into the NCAA tournament. 21 straight wins. 26 win season. Beat Middle by 20 in one game, and lose to them in the championship game on a last second shot. If we don't get an at large bid this year, we never will.03-banghead

Why we won't get an NCAA bid-
No quality road wins
No quality out of conference wins

Jeff says it may come down to us and Vermont. No contest there. Vermont has a higher RPI and had wins over 3 OOC Top 50 RPI teams- NCState and BC on the road and Dayton at home. We did, however, play Nebraska much closer than they did.

I keeping hoping the 21 game winning streak will get us in and it might. But our overall resume is lacking.

RE: Women's NCAA Selection Show
They do weigh heavily your last 10 games played-- not a bad set of games for UALR.

Best of luck getting anyone so-called "bigtime" to play you at home next year. The power conferences avoid us like the plague. We played UT-k and UK this year at home (Insell is one of Pat Head Summitt's best friends............. Rick's son is an assistant at UK).

We played 2 fewer games than we normally play because we couldn't get anyone to even call us back........ and we didn't want to play a low RPI-team OOC other than a couple of local games (Austin Peay, TN Tech, etc).
