You dimwits in obknoxville cant argue that it took him 5 years to get his program in better shape than Memphis, and thats largely due in part to the demolition by X. Something tells me yesterday's win will be a lot like the win here in 2008. Congrats on your team peaking in Feb again!

actually he's 2-1. you don't even know your own team's history.

Not will be. Right now. UT is sitting on a 5 seed. Memphis is going to the NIT. And as happens more often than not, UT beat Memphis.

Though only reason your program is relevant again is "x". I hear all this talk on this board about how crappy and sleazy Cal is, and then in the next breath there is talk about the "status" of the Memphis program or how they won 5 NCAAT game in one tourney. The revitalization of that status was achieved based on the work of one of the sleaziest figures in college sports. It was based on cheating. You can't have it both ways.

the problem with UT and the tourn right now is tourn games end up being played in the half court. UT cant play half court games. They will run up against a coach who takes the middle of the court away and it kills their offense. Keep UT out of transition and take the middle of the court out of their offense and they struggle big time. To win the NCAA tourn you have to have a dominant inside player who can score or get fouled in the final 5 mins. UT spreads the court to much for this.

smokey you can run your trap all you want. Before cal and after cal memphis has far far greater success when it comes to the ncaa tourn that UT. Run your trap if you want but that is the bottom line. Now go back to your parts and find someone who cares about hearing your trash...
