Jacksonville 76, Mercer 64---FINAL
JU is 12-5 in the ASUN, and Mercer is 10-7. The implications are obvious here.
One thing I noticed in the pre-game notes was that JU has an enrollment of 3,400 students. I knew they were private, but I've always had this impression that their student body was a good bit bigger than Mercer's (8,000). I was way off.
James Florence is a potential player in this game. I'm sure it's dependent on how his ankle feels tomorrow morning.

Good luck. We need you guys to help us out and win the rest of your games. I am pulling for you and KSU to win out. We helped you out a little by giving ETSU another loss. We can help you on Thursday as well by sending JU down a notch.

Camelfan, I have a good feeling about this one. I think Mercer is gonna win it on the home floor. Then all you'd have is Belmont, who Mercer plays later.

RE: Jacksonville @ Mercer ---FINAL
I'm not gonna comment much on this game, it was ugly in many respects. Those areas include Mercer making basic mistakes that lead to turnovers. Poor officiating throughout the game on both ends. etc.
Florence also played but did not play as 'himself'. He did not drive to the hoop or move with much quickness. He appeared that he could if he wanted to. If it were a tournament game I'm confident Florence would have been moving at full speed.
This is Mercer's biggest margin of defeat this year in ASUN games. MU now 14-14, 10-8 ASUN.
