I remember when El Cid and Wofford used to be the whipping boys of the Socon. Looks like that title has been passed on to Elon and GSU.

Wofford's won 14 out of their last 16. They beat South Carolina and Georgia before that, and opened the season with a 3-pt. loss at Pitt.

You know I am beginning to think the Socon is as wide open this year as the A-Sun is. For a while I thought C of C was the clear favorite but Wofford has been really impressive, Western is still playing good, I wouldn't count Davidson out yet and App State is playing tough in conference games, (they apparently just suck out of conference) they beat Davidson tonight and still hold the top spot in their division.
