Luck or Devine?
I doubt if Alex Garcia-Mendoza will have many better days in his lifetime. He scored the points to put Trojans in position to have a chance, then hit the miracle shot. All that on a night when his picture was featured on the game program.

Personally, I've always thought (or hoped) G-d has better things to do than worry about sporting events. But "the shot" was certainly some kind of miracle.

You can never tell, being from Mexico, I would guess he may be a 'good Catholic.' Vint and Tucker were saying something along those lines about divine intervention, on the post game. I really don't think the Lord takes sides in ballgames, but, if so, we had one coming.

If it were divine, then it was a make-up call for the UNO rainbow except that shot had the NCAA tournament riding on it.
