I think we are building back into a chance of another 3-year window to really be top dog in the league. ETSU is really young too, and if Mike Smith comes back next year, they'll be much better. Kennesaw is rounding into shape with their young talent. DLU will be good again next year.
We are in the middle of this season, but it strikes me that the league could make a nice move next season.

I think the real keys to the league are in the FGCU, UNF, and Upstate. FGCU has the resources to probably compete at the top of the league. If UNF and Upstate can climb to respectability (and UNF seems to be doing that this year), the league will be more competitive and able to challenge for the 13/14 seed range in the NCAAT. Conference should try to promote an elite team or two as well, rather than conference parity. The rest of the conference will catch up with the elite (see WCC/Gonzaga).
