ETSU Game
Congratulations on your win. Rick Byrd's mastery of Bartow continues. Your squad looked poised, fundamentally sound, and played with great intensity. Ian Clark was a bit off offensively, but has an incredible feel for the game and does many intangibles well.

Thanks. Ian was worrying me a bit. He has been shooting around 50% for the last few games from 3, but last night he was off.

You guys gave me a scare at the end and we were not handling it well.

Our ability to play defense is the best I have seen in our NCAA era. If we can be as consistently good like we play 75% of most every game, we will be a very, very tough draw in this league. The young guys are settling in and learning their roles. We have good depth.

If we beat Jax at home on Friday (a tall order) and have a few other things go right, we could possibly back into a #1 seed. Not likely, but not impossible.

I like that our team is so young and finally starting to come into our own. JJ Mann will be a huge addition next year. I do not expect him to redshirt. Hopefully Blake Jenkins proves also that he is worthy of the three star rating rivals gave him a while back. That stretch of road games were huge for us. Bring on JU, I hope our guys are out for some blood for their embarassing lost to them.

Thanks, could have gone either way down the stretch. At least Bartow didn't play zone too much. Brown is really coming on as well.

As for us, Clark did seem a bit off last night. Belcher really came to play which was huge. It was nice to Johnson driving a bit more and drawing a few fouls.

Friday night will go a long ways towards determining if jax is the most dominant team in the league and a clear favorite in the tourny, or if they can be beaten like any other team in this league. They are right now the closest thing to a clear favorite. I think we are capable of playing with them, just not sure if we're too young to have success in the tourny against that much experience. I'm really looking forward to Friday night.
