JU is scary, no doubt about that. The only thing that will be on JU's mind is how they've had their ass kicked in the finals the last two seasons. They weren't even competitive. Either they just can't play the big game or were the ASUN champs those years (ETSU/Belmont) really that much better?

Lipscomb and Kennesaw just qualified under my system to be a threat. Lipscomb with an impressive streak on the road of close games over Belmont, ETSU, & Campbell. Now Kennesaw beat Stetson, Mercer, and Stetson. Kennesaw's real test is Thursday on Mercer's home floor.

6 in a row for the Owls...that qualifies us to win the National Championship!!! :) Just kidding obviously, and I am not sure if we have what it takes to compete for the title, but it sure is nice knowing that we will probably be playing for a chance at it. We need to focus on our last home game before our brutal road schedule begins, and then we will see how long we can make the streak last.

We have helped you out tonight by putting another nail in Stetson's coffin.

I know camelfan...I appreciate that. Like I told the Mercer guys...any Stetson loss is a good loss at this point. I am not picky in making sure that Kennesaw qualifies for the tournament. It is very important for our program that we get there in our first year. Looks like the odds are with us at this point. Of course 4 out of our last 7 games are on the road vs. Lipscomb, Belmont, ETSU, and Campbell so chances of us continuing this streak to the end are minimal, but if we can pick up a road victory here and there, and then take care of UNF and Jacksonville (this will be TOUGH) at home, then we should finish somewhere in the middle of the pack.

That's the most realistic post I've ever seen a Kennesaw poster make, ever. Right now everyone has glaring weaknesses so this very well could be the year that a team comes out of nowhere and gets in.

Buclover - Kennesaw blew our chance to compete for the regular season title when we started 1-6. If we could have picked up the UNF and Upstate wins on the road (both of which we probably should have won), and beaten Lipscomb in overtime, then we might have a shot going into our brutal final stretch. As it is, we are right in the thick of things, but we have the most difficult schedule by far to end the year. The good news is that every win we make in our last 6 will be a double win....because we will be knocking down the teams in front of us while we win. However, everytime we get beat we get double penalized as well.

the ASUN's tournament seed is looking to be LOW this year. Possible play-in if someone not named JU or Belmont wins.

Kennesaw will take the play-in game for all we care...

it is probably still unlikely given the ASUN is ahead of about 7 leagues. ... but the play-in game has a few ups... it's a great chance for a tournament win, and it's on TV in prime time in full

I dont think we'll be in the play in unless something crazy happens in the tournament. we will most likely be a 16th seed though.

Watch out for the Bruins! We just finished our toughest stretch with 8 of 9 games against ETSU, DLU, Campbell and Jacksonville. Moved into a tie in the win column for 1st, though JU still only has 4 losses. Our young team is really rounding into shape.
