Does anyone know coach Ramsey's contract situation? How does it affect recruiting? Seems like we are always 1 or 2 players short of being a contender.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what has happened to our basketball team?? This was to be our year with Medlock back and supposedly a strong recruiting class. Certainly hasen't turned out that way.

There was a a time when EMU and CMU had parity in men's hoops meaning both equally bad like last year. But Ziegler is doing better at CMU and has signed four solid recruits many instate for next year. Who is the only MAC team without any recruits at this point? EMU of course. Ramsey's iffy contract status is going to help. I like to see Ramsey succeed and keep his job, but unless this team catches fire for the rest of the season I don't see it happening. The only question is when does Gragg pull the plug?

Anyone know if Gragg has a short list handy??

This team needs all its shooters out on the floor, why not a starting lineup of Greene, Medlock, Bowdry Dobbins and Daily? Cooper does some things well but zero offense and Higgins scoring production as cooled off.

IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY, SHOOTING OR LACK OF WAS THE PROBLEM LAST YEAR AND WAS SUPPOSEDLY TO BE CORRECTED WITH MEDLOCK BACK AND A STRONG RECRUITING CLASS LAST SPRING - RE: DAILEY AND HIGGINS AND SIMS.

AS MENTIONED IN THIS THREAD, RAMSEY STATED ON TWITTER THAT THE TEAM HAD A STRONG SHOOT AROUND IN THE AM IN MT PLEASANT BUT IT SURE DIDN'T CARRY OVER INTO THE GAME.

OF COURSE, SHOOTING WITH A HAND IN YOUR FACE IS ALWAYS MORE DIFFICULT THAN JUST SHOOTING.

I DON'T HAVE THE ANSWERS BUT IT SURE IS DISSAPOINTING, THE LOSING THAT IS.

I don't recall anyone on this board being overly impressed with Daily or Higgins it was kinda who are they? Sims I think people were interested.
Balkema and Harris were fall signees that looked like possible contributers.
