Well done article.

It does appear that our board is a good source of 'leads' for writers to follow up.

Don't want to hijack the thread, but where are the Chuck Martin boosters?

Instead of being a candidate for a D-I HC job he did what...

RE: McMahon gone ... QB recruit changes mind
I thought there was interesting back and forth in the comments. Also noted 11 verbals were mentioned.

And I'm sorry Steve but I am the one that broke the Memphis story on thie board. And kudos to Nickle for the original finding of the original verbal.

And not mentioned was the fact that I believe Jason Williams another QB is not coming back. Hopefully we get another QB. Going into the season with 3 QBs is probably not a good idea. English in his own words has concerns about the position.

Need for another QB Recruit.

In addition to Benz, Scout lists 2 other QB's as po'ssible EMU recruits, namely Rohach and McAdams.

In addition Lewis who has committed, plays QB but I believe he has been recruited as a DB.

Does anyone else have any additonal names of QB posdsible recruits?

Hard to envision that we would go through the year with only 3 QB's.

Sad to say that only 2 will apparently be on the roster for spring ball.

I wanted to mention that Rivals shows EMU offering:

Jon Ballard a 6'3, 195 QB from Youngstown OH

Chad Davis 6'3 180 Beverly Hills, MI

Both are uncommitted and both are rated by Rivals at two stars.

And there's that 6'7 QB from Florida that was an earlier thread.

Option? Seriously? 04-jawdrop
Huge mistake to go to option ... seems, if possible, we are regressing. Prospects look poor and not much to be upbeat about. Another ofer season on the horizon?

WHy? It seems to work for Navy and Ohio. You have to consider what EMU is working with in terms of talent. EMU is annually talent deficient. What is the best way to maximize that talent? Genyk thought it was spread. Guess what, it wasn't.

I have no problem with running the option so long as they find a guy who can teach it.

EMU is not going to an option offense. That's bad info.

I assume Super made a typo and it is on the Internet now threatening to be a the subject of posts and threads. 03-puke

I doubt Payne is an option QB. 03-lmfao

As Payne is built like what Dante Culpepper.
