Well I wasn't helping them by sitting in any of the seats around me. Or standing with my arms folded. Or standing with my arms by my side. Or by interlocking my fingers. I almost considered asking Band Grad if I could sit in his lap and see if that helped. Finally, leaving and listening on the radio was my last resort.

You didn't try belly dancing - or asking Eustacy if he wanted a beer. These things could have helped turn the game around. Sometimes, it can be good to go to the bathroom and just sit in a stall for a couple of minutes - let out a cry - and then return to your seat having expunged the bad mojo.

I'm just glad they got Eustacy off the court before the young girls performed with the Golden Girls at halftime.

Dude- sitting in my lap is not something I am willing to let you do for my Blazers. Plus, Little Man had that spot occupied for most of the game. BTW- thanks for getting Blaze to come up. That was all I heard about on the way home! That made Little Mans night!

I will say the game overall was pretty unpleasant, and I was tempted to leave. In fact if I hadn't brought a couple first timers I probably would have too. The parking situation before the game was pretty horrible so I was already in bad mood from the outset.

I noticed the parking problem, too. First time all season the lot behind Bartow has been full. What up wit dat?

The parking deck (which is easy access to the arena) is closed past the 2nd level for the renovation. I bet that had a lot to do with the overflow, for fans and students going to class (who should have all been at the game).

Ah, gotcha. If they closed it recently (i.e., since the last home game) then that would explain why the problem just suddenly came up last night.

Yeah...they did. I usually just park there and walk over the bridge to the arena. The only problem is about fifteen minutes after the games, traffic gets bad, but you wouldn't know about that would ya buddy? 05-stirthepot

Man, this is too fun. You need to throw a Golden Gallon™ on BandGrad for exposing your lack of BELIEF.

CD, be careful what you wish for. My mom was a belly dancer when I was little so I learned some moves. I can also bang those little thumb-cymbals like crazy (I think that's why my mom eventually stopped belly dancing...because I would walk around the house all day making noise with those things). And I'm not afraid to don your outfit...I'll just have to move to the student section so I can be seen by the free throw shooters.

Instead of speedo guy- we could have belly dancer guy! Which one would be worse to see in public?

I didn't get a real Blaze because I knew the athletic department could do a redesign before I die. I just picked a b&w dragon that I liked and told the artist I wanted it in Green & Gold. He did a good job with the color!

Depends. Are we specifically comparing me to the Duke speedo guy, or are you asking if it would be worse to see ME in just a speedo or in the belly-dancing outfit?

I figure either one ought to work. It's hard to shoot free throws while trying to claw your own eyes out.
