Yellow Lab needs a home
We have fostered a yellow lab from the Tunica Animal shelter as they were asking for volunteers to get the dogs out of the cold for the next few days. We are really looking for a home for the dog so that we do not have to return it to the animal shelter once it warms up. We have 2 dogs already and cannot keep this one. Does anyone know anyone that wants a yellow lab? The best we can tell it is around 1 - 1.5 years old and about 25-30 lbs. The previous owners apparently abandoned the dog while it was pregnant. The puppies have been adopted. The dog is very sweet and is already house broken.

If you know anyone or can help find this dog a home, please send me a PM or email me at rpalfrey40@yahoo.com.

It very well could. It is very sweet and only wants to be held and loved on. It gets along fine with my 2 dogs and has not shown any agressive behavior. It actually backs down to our small dog.

I have a 3 yr old female chocolate who sure could use a sister. I think my G/F will say no, but then again she said no when I took the one I have in.

Please do anything you can to get this dog a home. She is very sweet and I really do not want to have to take her back to the animal shelter to sit out in the cold.

She definitely has pit in her, and she is beautiful. Pits are super loyal dogs and very lovable and energetic dogs. I like the fact they hardly have hair so they stay pretty clean. I already got a girl pit. She is the best dog i've ever had.
