Hard to believe that Kaman didn't make the roster, especially when he'd be the only true center on the team...

RE: McLeod, Gates and Huffman on All Decade Team
20/26 are guards, more if you count the ones listed as G/F. I think they were just looking for the best players, not trying to put a team together. Kamen had one great, dominant year, but the other 2 years were not at that level.

Now, if you wanted to put a five man team together based on each player's best season, I'd take Kamen in my low post slot.

I think that this shows how far the MAC has dropped. No recent players are even close. And yes, Wally should be on the list. I believe that he was one of two college players on the US Olympic team.

As noted above, Wally did not play college ball in this decade.

Still doesn't explain the George Gervin snub.

RE: McLeod, Gates and Huffman on All Decade Team
To be fair they never REALLY specify WHICH decade they refer to. The first one of this century hasn't ended yet but since none of the players played before 2000 I'm guessing they mean the decade from 2000-2009. Gervin was good enough that if you spread his game over from the seventies through now he'd still make the team, but Eastern wasn't a mid-major then were they? I thought they were down a Division until they joined the MAC.

H2O, we have the same minority opinion on this. The true decade does not end until 12/31/10.

It's actually not an opinion. That's like saying it is my opinion that the U.S. Capitol is in Washington, DC.

RE: McLeod, Gates and Huffman on All Decade Team
I would have liked to see them narrow it down to 1st, 2nd and 3rd team. Here would be my first team:

G - Eric Maynor
G - Jose Juan Barea
F - Kyle Korver
F - Taylor Coppenrath
F - George Evans
