First game of the new year vs. an old Peach Belt Rival. North Florida has won 4 in a row, and is sitting in the low 100's in RPI. We have had almost no success on the road in the past 2-3 years, so obviously this would be a HUGE win. Looking forward to watching this game to see how we match up.

UNF beat Southern Miss on the road, and Southern Miss is a legitimate NCAA tournament team from what I have seen. UNF's new coach must really have them playing well right now.

Would love to start conference play at 2-1. I am confident going into this game. Green, Cummings, Woods, and Dixon have been playing well and I look for improvement as well.

To get a win on the road against a conference opponent would be good for our team. To win on the road period may help our guys get some confidence. UNF has been on a tear but its still a game I feel we can/should win.

Also interested to see if Heramb is dressed tonight. I really like having him in the mix.

I hope you ETSU boys are right. We haven't won too many games on the road in conference play since we joined the ASun. Winning our first this year would be a step in the right direction. I am not quite so confident just simply because of how well UNF has been playing.

I imagine that Southern Miss thought the same thing when UNF came into town for their tournament....and UNF dealt them a loss. Things change over the course of a season. Your season last year should be evidence enough for that. How a team plays a month ago has little to no bearing on how they are playing right now.

We will need to play a great ballgame to come up with a win in my opinion. We need to avoid our mental lapses, and play a consistent game. It is growing up time for our young guys. Now is when they need to show they can win despite their youth.

The need to play well goes without saying no matter who you play....especially on the road.

What a back and forth half. One big run followed by another. We really got beat up on the offensive boards, and in the paint. If we can do a better job at that in the second half we can win this game. Markeith played incredible, which is nothing new. JMac and Spencer also had a solid first half.

Our offense was fine for the most part, but our defense was borderline atrocious. We played a lot of zone, and I have to imagine that is done to save some legs. I don't think we will see nearly as much zone in the second half.
