2010 Recruiting names
Brian Holmes | PG Verbally committed to UNF
Hometown Winter Springs, FL
High School Winter Springs High School
Height 6'1"
Weight 170 lbs

Holmes averaged 14.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.2 steals per game as a junior.

“We are extremely excited about Brian Holmes and his family joining the North Florida Osprey basketball family,” said Driscoll. “Brian possesses outstanding guard skills and quickness that will allow us to improve on offense immediately, but more importantly he understands how to defend. He has been coached very well at both the high school and AAU level and that has prepared him well for college. He's a winner.”

Josh Snodgrass | SG Transfers to UNF
Gainesville, FL
High School P. K. Yonge Research School
Position rank Shooting Guard # 124
Height 6'5"
Weight 200 lbs

Josh is a solid shooter with good size. He has range to 22 feet. He has solid strength and should have no problem adjusting to the college game. He can do a little off the dribble but is mostly a shooter and a scorer.

Eloy Vargas | PF/Center (Right now everything is pointing to Kentucky)
Miami, Florida
Miami Dade C.C.
2010 (Junior College)
Ht:6'11"
Wt: 220

Former Gator prospect who has only been in the USA for a couple of years and he's much improved. Long and very active player with a good skill package for a 6'11" kid. Face up big man with a nice 17 foot jumper. Handles the ball well. Blocks a lot of shots. High ceiling for growth!

RE: 2010 Recruiting names
Nice class for UNF, particularly if you add in the transfers. Holmes looks like a player, JU recruited Williams out of HS, where he was the leader of a terrific East Lowndes Co team, and McRoy flew under the radar in a very good year for prep talent in Jax. Congrats
