We had a walk on WR from the same Florida high school last year and there is also a DB prospect this year from the same high school that EMU offered.

Note: He's says in one of the articles he will be enrolling in January.

Amazing thing is that EMU isn't even mentioned.

These January enrollees are tricky. I assume a kid says I'm enrolling and then doesn't. He has NOT signed a LOI so he is free to change his mind every 10 minute if he wishes.

I assume he will sign in February with Memphis and it becomes effective with the beginning of the next school year.

These kids are like FA in MLB or the NFL.

Hm, this guy's recruiting grades jumped sky high and he moved up the charts from nowhere. Well English almost did steal him. Now we need a second QB in this class.

Yes and for the inconsistency of 18 year olds read the original interview verballing to EMU.

What makes QB so difficult a position to deal with for recruiting is that being the 3rd QB, for example, is like the worst job in football. What is it the scout team QB? Maybe the 2nd worst job is 2nd string punter. :(

Man if I were an 18 year old QB I'd do my HOMEWORK 10x over before picking a school.

I have no idea how this kid evaluated his chances to play here vis-a-vis Memphis.

Now does anyone now see why schools are SO reluctant to release info on a day-by-day basis?

What will be release in February will be more likely to hold water.

Could anyone imagine if EMU had announced that Williams had enrolled only to learn a few days ago that he had a change of heart and enrolled elsewhere?. :muttering:
