Question About Passport Cards
I just made an appointment at the passport place to get a passport card. They gave me an appointment for December 28th. I really don't want to wait until 3 days before I'm supposed to leave to get my passport card.

My question is, is there any reason they tell you to make an appointment if it's 2 weeks or less until the time you leave?

Can I just do a walk in next week, and still get my card in time to leave?

Anybody?

RE: Question About Passport Cards
Yeah, they gunna charge you like crazy for that thing. My mom called up because she wanted to go but they told her it would cost around $400 when all set and done, for a card!

That's kind of BS if you ask me... Maybe she called a diff one I don't know.

Might as well invest the extra hundred. Passports are pretty cheap and good for 10 years.

Which place are you going to? I want to give it to her so she can go there.

You sure its $45 after their rush fee, the gov. rush fee, the state fee and fed fee?

You are right, it is probably a super rush fee.

RE: Question About Passport Cards
I hope not. That would suck, and I would be stuck in Sycamore.
