Bama Whining About Bye Weeks
Unbelievable.

http://blog.al.com/press-register-sports...sec_t.html

So now Bama wants the SEC to start regulating other teams' schedules to ensure they don't have to play too many teams coming off a bye week in future seasons. (I post this here because we play them in 2010 coming off our bye week.)

Never mind that they've ALWAYS been the darlings of the SEC - get favorable calls, never have major calls go against them; they have the SEC Baseball Tournament in what essentially amounts to a home field advantage.

And now their sorry asses are whining about not wanting to play anyone coming off a bye week because it gives the other team an advantage, citing the close wins against UT and Auburn as examples in 2009, never mind those are huge rivalry games.

I somehow doubt the SEC offices will actually take Mal Moore's suggestion seriously, but if we see a change in the coming years where the Tide doesn't have to play anyone coming off a bye, then we'll know they did.

What a bunch of whiny-ass ******* they are in Tuscaloosa.
