Morris (Ill.) three star ranked senior defensive end prospect Kevin Henry (6-foot-5, 255 pounds) gave Central Michigan and head coach Butch Jones his verbal commitment back in July. Henry has also been reading and hearing several rumors involving the Chippewas head coach looking to leave and take jobs elsewhere. So is Kevin Henry still on board with the Chips? Get the latest recruiting details here.

Does anyone know what the article says?

RE: Kevin Henry
Know one has a sub. to read what Henry has to say? I read several times how much we would love to steal Henry from CMU.

RE: Kevin Henry
It's often perported that players commit as much to the school as they do to a particular coach.

We shall learn if it's true with KHenry.

Some talented frosh may wish to and are needed to play first season. Would that be likely true for CMU or NIU that he could earn a starting position?

He and other Chips will want to meet the new CMU coach first I should think.

I didn't see this thread until now, but it's notable to clarify that the whole report was published before Butch Jones even left. I'm sure we'll hear another update on Henry's thoughts about keeping his commitment soon.

From the Edgy Tim article you guys are referring to (posted Tuesday morning):

"I definitely have been following some of the coaching changes and I keep seeing Coach Jones name being thrown around with different jobs. All I know is that he's still at Central Michigan and so are the rest of the coaches and I'm fine with all of that."
