We cut the lead down to 2 points with a flurry of steals and layups at the end of the half. We get the ball to start the half, and I really like the way it sounds that our guys are battling hard. Tough to win on the road, and we are hanging in there.

I listened to the game, and it was just a tough game..back and forth the whole time. WMU sounded like a pretty solid team. Would have been a great win. They killed us in the second half at the free throw line. We were dominating them on both sides of the ball, and the refs wouldn't stop blowing the whistle. In the last two minutes we had a moving screen, a 5 second count, and 3 second count, and miscellaneous other calls that according to the announcers were very questionable (I think the moving screen call was legit, but the others raised some eyebrows).
We made some big shots down the stretch to stay right with them, but from the sound of it, the whistle beat us in the last 2 minutes.
Tough break for the guys. Sounds like we played a solid game to be honest. I find a lot of encouragement from reading the WMU boards, and from what our announcer's said. If we had played like this vs. Maine, I think he would have won comfortably. Hopefully we will build on this and play well vs. GT on Monday.

Our team is coming along and starting to put things together. It came down to rebounds and missed free throws. I still feel the team is moving in the right direction and our guys have no reason to hang their heads.
