@ WCU & @ UNCW
The schedule really gets interesting now as the Camels hit the road and play in-state rivals Western and Wilmington.

The schedule to this point has gone pretty much as expected. Yes, we should have beaten ECU. The only surprises for me have been how close CU played VT before running out of gas and how close (again, unfortunately) the UNF game was.

Now, we see how Campbell plays on the road. Will the road woes continue or will the experienced players find a way to win?

First off, WCU. Not sure what's happened in Cullowhee, but Western looks like they're tops in the Southern this year. Catamounts' scores thusfar....

@ Texas L 41-73
ARK - MONTICELLO W 70-44
BINGHAMTON W 73-44
DUQUESNE W 83-77
@ Gardner-Webb W 75-59
WOFFORD W 72-67
@ Furman W 64-57
@ Bradley W 75-57

Then, UNCW. Campbell won 100-94 in the last matchup (at Carter Gym in '07). Seahawks' scores...

@ App L 68-79
GEORGE WASHINGTON L 71-76
v Penn State W 80-69
v Miami L 60-67
v USF L 66-74
VMI W 115-95
@ Elon W 86-56
GEORGE MASON Saturday

Looking forward to these games!!

We missed you at the UNF and USV games. It is not like you to miss two in a row. We did not play well in either game. UNF was bad and it is a shame that we did not beat USV by 50.

We are going to have to play a lot better if we have any chance against WCU and UNCW.

I still think we play to our competition and it will be much better over the next few weeks so we need to pick up the pace of play a little.

I won't drive 70 miles to watch us play a NAIA school! I can appreciate the purpose of this game after exams, though. As far as UNF, I mistakenly thought this would be an easy win, too. I probably need to start taking the Ospreys more seriously.

I'll see you at the JU game.

Merthie is in and is playing well so far.

Down 24-32 at the half. Thank goodness that last WCU 3 was waved off (shot clock)!

FG% should be better in the 2nd.

59-66 Final.

Very impressed with 2nd half play....cutting it to 3 after being down 17 on the road. Nice game for Celestin.

I think CU will win at Wilmington.

Western won by 8 at Louisville yesterday! I'd like to see WCU move on and win the SoCon this year.

Sure played real well tonight. Love the effort guys. Just like North Florida game except you were playing a basketball team tonight. This was embarassing against a team we should beat. If we can't beat the worst team in the Colonial. Even if we lost is ok if we fought hard and played well with a good game.

Glad I did not waste my time driving to Wilmington.

No effort especially from starters. Started in N. Florida game and has continued.

Article on UNCW-CU game:

http://www.starnewsonline.com/article/20...nside-play

Very disappointing. I expected more from this experienced team.

I didn't listen to the game, but checked Live Stats off and on. How did Harper spin it? Were the Seahawks THAT GOOD?

0-6 in 3ptrs. First time CU didn't score a 3 since '96!

Same old Campbell-on-the road. Laing said CU had no business falling behind 17 at Western, but I was impressed with the comeback attempt. Fell down too far, too early at UNCW. Again, you'd think this wouldn't happen to an experienced team.

Vejraska and Rodriquez are now 9-37 on the opponent's home court since their freshman year.

Hope the UNCW game is the season's low point that will give that spark of inspiration.
