I tried to warn people, a good QB does not instantly elevate play of the receivers. I guess sometimes that can happen but you have to have at least SOME talent at that position. Obviously the Bears have more problems than just that, but to this day I find it just remarkable the Bears could have entered a professional football season with that unit. That is grounds for firing Angelo just with that alone. Hopefully this taught the Bears a lesson that you cannot "fixate" on one position and ignore the rest of your football team. To be really honest if the Bears win 6 games this season, that is about 2 or 3 wins more than I would have dreamed.

thats exactly the comparison i had in mind. fans follow the bears so blindly, and thats why they have been empowered to continuously provide crappy product. the money will always be there

I love Bears fans, they are hilarious to talk football with. No matter how bad of a season they have had or how bad of an offseason they always believe the next game is going to turn it around for them. If they fire Lovie good luck getting a good coach to come in knowing that the G.M is on the hot seat also. If they fire the Angelo good luck trying to get a good G.M to come in and take over knowing they have a mess of a team and a lack of draft picks to restart the building the process.

I truly, deeply hate everything about Lovie Smith. Everything.
