Not the first time Kelly has been linked to WMU incorrectly. Let's not bring up the moniker they fling around against us Michigan MAC schools.

Good luck to him, Western will see him next season.

Said he's not likely to coach in the Sugar Bowl. He has a thing for moving schools around bowl season.

I had a feeling that Kelly would be the Notre Dame coach when I learned about next years WMU/Notre Dame game. Now that game has the same taint as the 07 International Bowl.

Again, not his fault - blame the NCAA for allowing this nonsense. They could prevent it by instituting "no contact period" rules but they sit with their thumbs up their .....

This kind of scenario will play out several more times this year. The reason this one is getting so much media play: 1) Involves Notre Dame 2) Cincy is unbeaten and highly ranked

Kelly did the "try to coach two teams in two bowls" once and knows how hard it is. I suspect that he has no desire to do it again. Besides, it is the Sugar Bowl vs. Florida. Cincy deserves to have somebody at the controls who is fully focused. Of course, playing Florida will be a built in excuse should they lose.
