Offensive Line
I know that there was a little bit of concern about the offensive line and their ability to hold up against Pitt's excellent defensive front, particularly Link and Griffins ability to handle Greg Romeus and Jabaal Sheard. But check out the stats Sheard was completely shut out, no tackles for loss, no sacks, no tackles at all. Romeus had a better game, two total tackles and no TFL's or sacks. Hats off to the offensive line because they had a phenomenal game yesterday.

That offensive line gave us a fighting chance.

UC's OL IMO were unsung heroes of the game.
Yes they gave up a few sacks and Pike was pressured but overall they had a good game against a very good DL.

I knew Pitt's DL wouldn't "dominate" them. 03-wink

RE: Offensive Line
They only gave up one true sack. Mustakas's sack was the bad snap on 3rd down that Pike dropped and then went to his knees to cover, but Gus was in the area so they gave him the sack.
