Yep. With the way the pollsters think if you start at the top and don't lose you stay at the top, or move up if someone in front of you does.

We should all take the Robert Montgomery Knight approach to this. We might as well enjoy what is going on with this football team. There is really not a whole lot we can do as fans to change what is going to happen, so what the hell...... Enjoy what has happened this season.

God bless Chris Fowler, who is saying right now on ESPN that maybe TCU or Cincinnati should be ranked above Texas.

Love listening to Fowler on ESPN. He thinks he may drop Texas in his AP poll even though it's not factored in to BCS. He said Texas unimpressive and Cincy coming back on the road in the snow was impressive. He says there's really no way to know who wins on a neutral field between Texas, TCU and Cincy. He's basically saying the system sucks.

He's right. The system does suck. Time to do what the lower divisions do. Playoffs!

Then again, the established media would freak out with a championship game of TCU vs. UC, if there was a playoff. Who cares. Title game or not, I am going to enjoy this season for a long time.... at least until next year when we can do it again!

Honestly, Alabama is so far above UC it's not like it matters, but it sure would have been nice to have the shot.

Today, yes. Last week, I don't think so. You are right, it would have been nice to have the chance. If we play our A game and the other "Big Name" school comes without, I like our chances.

I've been Twittering some of the ESPN guys asking them to look at the computer ratings and at the schedules of Texas, TCU and UC. Doubt it does any good, but I gotta try.
