Northern Iowa sweeps Washington State 3-0 (26-24, 25-21, 25-20) Wichita State wins 3-1 (25-20, 25-21, 18-25, 25-16) in their 1st round match. If they both win 2nd rd games they will meet to go to the Final 8 in Omaha, Neb next Friday, the 11th.

UNI would probably match up with Nebraska 2nd round, and Wichita State would be looking at Iowa State.

Seriously.....this is a basketball site....not for chick discussion....geez!

Good news.....that UNI team's been smokin good the last month or two. Volleyball fans who don't know Valley teams think ISU will sweep Shocks, don't think so.

Not closing out that first set was doom for the Shocks. 24-23, on the road, round of 32, you HAVE to find a way to get that point.

Mentally, we were never in it after losing that point. Win it and who knows?

I was suprised that UNI didn't play the Skers a little tougher, in fact I really thought they would win. Still, a good representation from the Valley.
