TSU should have been a win. Ingle needs to learn when to call time outs. When a 25 point lead dwindles to 9 and you havent called a timeout thats awful.

Ingle reminds me of Phil Jackson. Never calls timeouts. Tries to let the team figure it out. it drives me crazy.

We beat a team we should have beat.. I'm glad. The Tennessee State game was honestly my only disappointment of the trip. Hopefully we grew up some over this nine day span and will be ready to get a conference win this week.

Well, this is a good win. This team will be a force by the end of the season. The guys are just putting it together. You have Cummings (RF) and Green (RF) starting their collegiate careers, while Dixon and Woods are just starting their second year as Owls. Matt is just now seeing time after sitting last year. This team is young and we need to allow them some time to put it together before we get upset about games like TSU.

Good to see we got a win. We needed that one. One thing to consider is that Ingle might be allowing these young players to play through the tough times in order to gain much needed experience for the end of the year. I am sure that he wants to win every one like we do, but that might possibly be behind the reason for some of it. I haven't watched the last two games obviously, so I wouldn't be able to comment beyond that...I really miss ASun.tv on these road games.

Another good thing to see is that we outrebounded MVSU 47-32. That is a trend I would love to see continue. We have the potential to have a good rebounding team if our guys play tough enough. Heramb and Green are really the key. I think Cummings and JMac will be solid rebounders night in and night out, but we are going to need Heramb and Green to hold their own against opposing centers on the boards.
