ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Chris Harris and Jordan Sugars each had career nights, combining for 61 points to lead Navy to an 87-70 victory over Towson Tuesday night in Alumni Hall.

The loss dropped the Tigers to 1-2 on the year while Navy improved to 2-3.

Navy grabbed the lead (4-3) early on two Harris free throws and was never headed, shooting 52 per cent from the floor on the way to its third win over Towson in the 10-game series.

The Tigers defended most of the Navy players handily but couldn't stop Harris who accounted for over half of the Midshipmen's first half production with 22 points. He would add another 15 points for a career high 37 for the game.

"We were deathly fearful of this when we watched the film on Navy," said Tiger head coach Pat Kennedy. "We told our guys that if we didn't guard them they were going to shoot the heck of it. We couldn't guard Harris tonight."
