Bowl predicitions are one of the most ridiculous aspects of college football. The predicitons fluctuate on a daily basis and with every media outlet having a different prediction and back door deals that occur with the almight dollar leading the way it is impossible to predict until all the games are played, conference championships have been decided, and teams 6-6 or 7-5 have been decided.

Agree completely; I would not watch TCU vs Boise. I would watch either of them pitted against a team from the evil empire (AQs) . . .

Having either of them in the title game would be horrible for playoff proponents, because it shows that a non-BCS team could actually win a title with the way the system is currently set up. That kills the biggest argument we have against the BCS.

I'm hoping for a doomsday scenario with Florida/Alabama, Texas, Cinci, Boise, and TCU all undefeated when it's time to select teams for bowls. It's possible for there to be 4 undefeated teams at the end of the season (SEC champ vs. Texas eliminates one), creating the biggest BCS controversy ever.

Which is exactly why the "powers that be" will do all they can to see them matched against each other. Think - NCAA hoops tournament when they intentionally bracket non-power 6 conference teams against each other in the first round to eliminate one of them. Saves the big 6 conferences embarassment later.
