That man is about as close to a heart attack as anyone can be and still be upright. He could lose 100 Lbs and you still would think he was a fat cow.

RE: Kansas
Kill has some serious ties in that state - it's not crazy to think this sort of turmoil can help Kill grab a lower KU recruit.

The mom of a KU student says they have tee-shirts that say:

"Our coach beat anorexia."

RE: Kansas
It may be mentioned in one of the links provided above but I didn't see it in my quick lookthroughs.

Mangino was also reported to have asked a player if he wanted to go back to St. Louis where "him and his homies could get shot", or something of that nature. Either the player or the player's brother had been shot previously in stl.

One player also admitted to the team that his father was an alcoholic. The player was later discussing how he wanted to become a lawyer when Mangino made a comment similar to "so do you want to be a lawyer or an alcoholic?"

what's going on down there? did Mangino really do something that bad that they're throwing him to the wolves like that? Kansas is quick to forget that they weren't too far away from being a B12 doormat years ago and who helped them get into the BCS picture.

Curious how Mangino's antics compare to those of other hard nose coaches like Bobby Knight.

Lol I love that I have always wanted to know who would win in a Sumo fight between the two of them. My winner is Magino.

RE: Kansas
Kansas is producing some fine talen this year especially at DE. Hope Kill can work his connections there, between 400 LB Mangino and KSU's Snyder being about 70 years old, Kill has a shot at getting some talent out that state.
