Exclamation Kids!?!?!?
Today while driving down Ridgeway after the Elem school let out, I saw a group of like 20+ kids walking down the sidewalk. One boy pushed another in the street just 10 feet in front of my car! The boy fell and could not get up. Thankfully I had slowed down and was able to stop before I hit him. His "buddies" were standing there laughing!!!! I stopped my car and yelled at all of them. There is NO signs that kids are walking from school. There were cars going around me doing at least 50mph!!! I went to the police station on Ridgeway and told them what happened and they said there is nothing they could do about it! What do yall think I should do? I am so scared that one of those kids are going to get hurt! I dont want to just leave it alone. Any ideas? What would you do?

RE: Kids!?!?!?
Next time instead of yelling at them stop and spin tires and gun it straight at them. Or maybe if you had a machette or something you could just get out of your car and scream bloody murder while you chase them with it.

Its just a case of no respect for others or themselves. Nothing you can do since that all starts at home. Just thankful you didn't have to experience the other possible outcome of that situation.

RE: Kids!?!?!?
Nothing will be done. This is small time stuff compared to the events that go on daily with in the MCS. Just ask a teacher and thank them for trying, showing up everyday and doing a thankless job.

To all the teachers here - THANKS you all are special people.

An uzi should get most, if not all, of them. If you slow down to no more than about 5mph you should accomplish your goal.

RE: Kids!?!?!?
Those probably weren't the responses you were looking for..
The tragic part is it will take a tragedy to put signs up that will be ignored.
The best remedy is good ol common sense which, in some cases seems to have gotten twisted around, but seems to be lacking nowadays.
